Bausch Datacom presents a specific portfolio of GPRS, 3G, CDMA 450 MHz RTU's and modems, EV charging infrastructure electronics and is participating in the engineering of innovative sensor technologies for electricity substations for the years to come . The company focuses on 4 major (communication) aspects of the electricity grid: IEC 60870-5-104 SCADA communication, external meter reading communication, EV charging infrastructures and ‘Active Substation ' technology. On wednesday 4th of november there will be a specific presentation of the ARGUS substation monitoring portfolio at the KIC-Innoenergy booth B.c09. The Argus system is a modular and multi-functional communication, measurement and analysis platform for monitoring and controlling equipment in electrical energy distribution systems. Its sub-modules offer electrical measurements, power quality monitoring, directional fault detection, fault recording, and continuous data recorders, including event recording. Also, digital and analog channels for system automation are offered.
